The Week in Review: Week 5- 2019

Each week I will spell out the days and my various dates, adventures or lack thereof. If I have written a story about that particular date or event or whatever, I will link it here as well. I will also add a summary and some “parting thoughts” at the end.

Monday: I don’t know, I had started to get used to the sunnier days, but today was another sad, grey, dreary, nasty cold day. I was working on a new project for work, but it doesn’t look like there will be a lot of work this week. My friend Rhonda came to meet me for dinner after her German lessons. We had a lovely Italian dinner and a terrific bottle of red wine. My “friend” Odysseus came over, but it was very late.

He is basically homeless, and asked if he could stay a few days, but he didn’t show up until super late. I woke up and let him in, but then I was awake, so we poured some wine and hung out chatting for an hour or so before I was able to go back to sleep. We made him comfy on my big “bed chair” and slept separately. (Sometimes we sleep together, sometimes we don’t.)

Tuesday:  This morning I woke up and Odysseus was still sleeping, but he woke when I started stirring. We chat for a while and I tried to get some work done. Eventually he called me over, asked me to snuggle with him. I climbed under the covers, and he promptly started snoring in my ear. I am participating in Smut Marathon and my brain was going round and round for how to do this week’s first assignment. I was inspired for a story by the way he was holding my breasts while we snuggled. I ended up using that inspiration for another story, but when I woke up, I jumped out of his arms and onto my laptop so I could write the story.

Tonight, I got to see Stefan. This always makes me happy, but this week is even happier because I negotiated two nights to see him! One of his oldest friends was there when I got there. I have never met his friends. This was really interesting. His friend is nice and also German, so I got to hear him speak quite a bit of German, which I usually don’t get to enjoy. Also, his friend was interested in our history and said he thought our relationship was lovely.

Stefan had warned me before I arrived that his libido was kind of low, but we managed to sneak in some “old people barely moving morning sex.” Whatever! I will take it. With only about 3 weeks left before I leave the city, I just want to be with him, and I am greedy for every last memory we make.

The Mission

Wednesday:  I left Stefan’s and went to meet a friend for coffee. I love exploring the cafes and small coffee houses around the city and I love getting to connect with new people who are also sex positive and awesome. After that connection, I came home to do some writing and chill. A bath was definitely in order, so I grabbed a glass of wine and a book and relaxed.

Thursday- Stefan! I mean what else is there to say? I worked and wrote and went to his house. He told me ahead of time that his friend would still be there, but to come regardless. We had dinner together then his friend and his girlfriend came over. It was a very cozy, couples’ scene. This is now the second time we have spent time together with friends. He sat next to me, held my hand, asked me to support or confirm his stories… it was all very boyfriend like. I was in awe and love. This is not our normal relationship dynamic, but it made me so happy to be part of it. I realized that this relationship is deeper than I have given it credit for. I also realized that maybe I could have been asking more from it than I have. I tend to think that he doesn’t care for me the way I care for him, but why not? I adore him, why can’t he adore me?

At the end of the night his friend went to sleep in the bedroom and Stefan, and I snuggled on the couch and watched TV. At one point he put my hand on his cock and said, “While I am watching a show about cars, you should be touching me!” Ha-ha we laughed so hard. But before long there was more than laughing going on. Eventually it turned into full on college level silent anal fucking under the covers while your friend is in the other room! SO HOT!

Friday – I was exhausted on Friday, after not sleeping well on Stefan’s couch. Random side note: I usually sleep in his bed for most of the night, but since his friend was there I didn’t. This was the first time in close to 2 years I slept all night with him, and it was kind of sweet. A few times I woke, and our heads were touching, foreheads or cheeks and he was quietly snoring in my ear. If the couch wasn’t so hard it hurts my hips to sleep there, I would do that more often. It was quite lovely.

I enjoyed a relaxed Friday Funday afternoon with my friend Alison. And then met Hannah for some wine and snacks and a cuddle at her house. That night Odysseus came back, but at like 4am! Kind of annoying. I let him in and climbed back into bed. He climbed in with me and at least I got some nice snuggles for the rest of the night.

Saturday- Odysseus slept in while I got up and got some more writing done. I usually go to a writing group on Saturday mornings but decided I am not going to expend my energy anymore getting to know new people when I have such a short time left. Also, I was pretty exhausted after Odysseus’ late-night last night. (We had a discussion about that in the morning too, he was contrite and hopefully understands that he has to be more communicative about his coming and goings if he wants to be able to stay here when he’s in his “homeless” phase.)

Late in the afternoon, I got out of the house for a long walk and grabbed food at the market. I was craving comfort food and made a huge batch of homemade meat sauce for pasta. I also got a few things written for the blog.

I MAY have had too much Cherry Coke and Vodka in the evening and drunk tweeted about a particularly squirty masturbation session. (In the morning I found pics I had taken even! OOPS! Thank goodness I didn’t post THOSE!)

What Do I Want to Explore in the Next 30 Days?

“Good thing you have an spare” and other things people say, Part IV

Sunday- After working a little on a new post, I forced myself to get up and out of the house. I met Hannah for an afternoon at the big German Sauna here in town. In Germany saunas are a “thing” and this one is extra special. High end, about 10 different saunas, small pools, a big indoor and outdoor pool, various bars, restaurants, lounge areas and a huge garden walking area on the edge of an urban forest. Naked people everywhere.

I honestly have to write about this too. I am so comfortable now just taking off my clothes and following the crowd. Sitting ass to ass with strangers in a 158-degree sauna, sweating from my nose and tits, rubbing ice chips over my naked body under a cold shower, next to a strange man. This is my life now, no shame about my body. No shame about nudity. Total comfort in who I am and what I look like and the fact that bodies are beautiful and not shameful. YAY!

The warm sauna and comfortable afternoon kept me nice and cozy all the way home and into an easy rest on the couch under a fuzzy blanket. Good day!

Totals:

  • 1 lazy gentle morning sex session
  • 1 silent under the cover anal sex session
  • 2 awesome dates with Stefan
  • 3 overnights (Stefan/Odysseus)
  • 3 hangouts with gal-pals
  • 1 annoying discussion with O
  • 3 blog posts
  • 1 amazing pasta with homemade meat sauce
  • 1 incredible unexpected job opportunity

This was an especially good week because of so much time with Stefan. I really discovered so much about our relationship this week, everyone I talked to got an earful of how much I just geek out and adore this guy. Spending time with his friends helped me to see both him and us in a different light, and it was a very flattering light.

I didn’t mention this above- but I got an email from a recruiter on LinkedIn this week. They have a job that totally fits my work experience and areas of expertise! And wait for it… the job is IN BERLIN!! I had an interview with the recruiter and she is going to forward my info to the manager. (I have an interview with the hiring manager next week!) This is an exciting opportunity because I did not seek it out, it suits me and my experience, AND most importantly, I could live here in Berlin again on a fully sponsored work visa!

It would mean a huge lifestyle change, pay cut, and REAL full-time corporate work which I haven’t done in about 10 years, BUT- BERLIN!!! So, I am trying not to get too excited about it right now, but we’ll see.

Otherwise packing and sorting for the move is taking place. Even if I get the job, none of it will go through before my current visa expires and I have to leave. Plus, I have all my tickets booked through March 31, and at that point I will be halfway across the world, so this will be a relocation back here. Moving plans are going well though, despite the ongoing sadness.

That’s it for this week! Thanks for checking in!

  1. Ooooh I am going to keep my fingers crossed for you to get the job in Berlin! Thanks for sharing your week with us again. I think this makes for a very nice journal when you read back on it some years from now 🙂

    1. Thanks! I would love to be able to stay here!

And yeah- I was thinking when I started it, it might be sexier than it is! LOL But I do like the journaling for myself aspect too… and if people can see that being solo-poly isn’t all orgies and sex dates, well that’s good too! (it’s even better when it’s a week full of sex dates and orgies, though! LOL)

    1. THANKS for the good wishes!

I find it interesting too, mostly because I feel like I haven’t been giving it enough credit, and I wonder, if I am able to come back, how I can incorporate these new thoughts into what we have already established. I see him twice this week too, and will ask for twice next week since it’s my last week here… I wouldn’t mind if this becomes our established pattern.
